I was born in Forest Gate Hospital and raised in East Ham. My life before doing drugs was normal, I had a great childhood and a good life. My childhood was full of so much laughter and happy times. One of the happiest moments in my life I can remember before I started doing drugs was when I boxed as a teenager in the Essex finals and won the match against a kid who was undefeated, I felt like I was on top of the world.

My proudest accomplishment is completing the programme and proving to myself that I can actually do it and also restoring my family’s trust in me. My relationship with my family is now a lot better, a hundred times better than what it was before.

The advice I would give to someone who is in active addiction now is that the first step is to admit that you have a problem and don’t be afraid to leave it all behind.

I was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I had a good early start of my life in Jeddah and then I moved to Montréal, Canada. I finished my college degree and then I headed back to Jeddah to start my career. I had studied civil engineering in college.

To those struggling with addiction now, you can make it to the other side. It is ok to be without drugs or alcohol in your life. The downward spiral is inevitable. I believe that Narconon is a programme of willingness. At the point of which you feel that you want to change, ask for help because I tried to do it on my own without expert advice, but it just went in circles, the addiction goes up and everything else goes down.
