My Proudest Accomplishment Is My Sobriety

Tel Aviv, Israel

I was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Before I started doing drugs I played football, smoked shisha (tobacco).

One of the happiest moments in my life that I can remember before I started doing drugs was when my football won the title.

In 2012 I smoke my first joint, I was about 16.

Because of my drug use I lost my relationships with my family, it controlled my life.

What led me to Narconon was that other rehabs had been unsuccessful.

My stepfather found Narconon.

The staff member who welcomed me was very friendly and I liked him. When in withdrawal I came down to graduation and that really helped me stay.

My biggest wins on the programme were Overcoming my difficulties, anxiety, etc.

Building my ability to push through things even if I didn’t like doing them (mental toughness). Gaining the ability to live without drugs and be happy. Completing the whole programme.

I feel fantastic about graduating, big sense of achievement.

“I am looking forward to starting my new drug-free life and starting to work. My proudest accomplishment is my sobriety. My relationship with my family now is great.”

I am looking forward to starting my new drug-free life and starting to work. My proudest accomplishment is my sobriety. My relationship with my family now is great.

My favourite thing about being drug free now is that I don’t have dependency on anything.

The advice that I would give someone who is in active addiction now is to come to Narconon and to understand that he is an addict and he has a problem.
